Circle In is proud to announce the continued expansion of our team, appointing Phil Heys to the role of Director of Sales.
Circle In co-founder Jodi Geddes says: “Director of Sales is a key role as part of our management team. Phil joins us at an exciting stage of growth, especially as we start to see global interest and our Australian base growing at speed.”
From September 2019, Phil will be responsible for Circle In’s sales function.
Jodi adds: “Phil has a strong sales background combined with a keen sense of social purpose, so we’re thrilled that he is joining our organisation. As a father himself, Phil understands the challenge for employees and sees the real opportunity for employers.
“Following recent investment in Circle In, a lot of our focus is on building our team. It’s about hiring the best people who are purpose-led and truly with us on the journey to create a better world for working parents.”
Phil joins Circle In from Weploy, an on-demand recruitment platform, where he led a team of sales professionals as Australian Head of Sales. Prior to this, Phil worked at LinkedIn as a Senior Relationship Manager in the APAC Talent Solutions business.
“Having met the Circle In team, I was really impressed with what they’ve achieved to date,” says Phil. “Employers providing a more supportive working environment for parents will not only impact retention and attraction, but more importantly address bigger issues such as gender diversity. It was this mix of innovation and social conscience that compelled me to join the organisation.”
He adds, “Being able to bring my whole-self to work whilst still being able to be present at home for my family is really important. Like many working parents know, this daily balancing act can be somewhat difficult or, as we like to say, ‘the juggle is real!’”.
