2020 was a year of business pivots, bold leadership and flexibility for Circle In. As we continue our growth trajectory and increase our global footprint, our co-founders, Kate Pollard and Jodi Geddes, decided it was time to bring in a GM of Operations to bolster the everyday management of the team.
We gave Jodi Rosenthal (yes, another Jodi!) a very virtual Circle In welcome earlier this month. JR joins us after an impressive track record with Network TEN, Newscorp, Vicinity Centres and oOh! Media. Most recently, after a well deserved career break, she held the role of Global Head of Customer Success at a recruitment platform focussed on helping organisations increase gender parity.
“A significant part of my career break was focussed not only on what I wanted to do, but what kind of impact I wanted to have in doing it. I wanted to do something that positively impacted the lives of others’; I am extremely passionate about diversity, equality and inclusion, both conceptually and also because I identify proudly as a gay, Jewish immigrant! Circle In fit squarely into these three principles – it was a no brainer!” said JR.
Jodi is most excited to be part of a business that is truly committed to helping employers evolve with the changing needs of all family types and constructs. “Knowing that the work I do is contributing to creating safe, supportive and inclusive workplaces for people, is an incredible feeling and I feel privileged to be part of it.”
Co-founders, Kate and Jodi are over the moon with this appointment. “When we met JR, we knew instantly that she was right for the role. Under her funny, gregarious personality is a person with a razor sharp performance edge. JR’s appointment to the team has come at a very crucial time. We’re at a stage of growth where the team will greatly benefit from her diverse skill sets and creative problem solving.” said Jodi Geddes.
Jodi is a self proclaimed culture vulture with a lifelong obsession for pop culture. When she’s not at work, you can find her at art/comedy festivals, the theatre or belting out her latest Karaoke favourite. And if she’s not there, she’s diving deep into her next book cuddled up with her two very cute, spoiled Ragdoll cats, Stella and Alfie (who we’ve all been introduced to at our Zoom sessions).
We’re absolutely thrilled about what the next 12 months bring as we work towards our vision of creating a better working world. Stay tuned for more updates from the team!
