As we enter our next stage of growth, we’re looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to be the glue that binds our product strategy to the tactics we need to drive success in marketing and sales. We are after someone who will thrive as our product evangelist across Marketing, Sales and Customer Success, work hard with great people and feel good about contributing to a social purpose. Importantly, we want this person to be excited about playing an integral role in taking our growth to a new level and being part of the next phase of Circle In as we expand globally.

This is a newly created position reporting to the Chief Growth Officer.

What you’ll do:

  • Understand the competitive landscape in the AU, UK and US – know our competitors inside out, what they do today and what they will do in the future
  • Know our customers – both the buyer and the end user – and be comfortable in crafting both buyer and user personas 
  • Collaborate with our content product manager to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas
  • Collaborate with our automation specialist on buyer journeys and write messaging for nurture sequencing that drives prospects through the funnel
  • Understand and be able to document our buyer’s process, including where they get information and why they make decisions to then inform our sales and marketing strategy and continually test, learn and scale
  • Develop a marketing plan to drive the acquisition of new customers and the retention of existing customers 
  • Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop collateral to support their sales initiatives

Required skills:

  • 5+ years marketing experience with at least 2 years in B2B in a customer-facing role (e.g. delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Works calmly under time pressure
  • Autonomous but highly collaborative
  • Strong problem solver
  • Exceptional ROI-tracking skills and able to understand analytics to drive business decisions
  • Familiar with marketing automation tools like Hubspot and Google Analytics
  • Power user of networking tools such as LinkedIn
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
