Two Australian-based startups, Enboarder and Circle In, are collaborating to offer companies a digital solution to improve the engagement experience for people on parental leave.

Established parental leave specialists, Circle In, are now able to offer their parental leave program to customers using Enboarder’s unique experience-driven onboarding platform.

Brent Pearson, Enboarder founder and CEO, said that the Circle In collaboration adds a unique parental leave offering for businesses, combining leading content with the best onboarding platform. “We launched Enboarder after realising the way businesses currently onboard new hires was broken,” Mr Pearson said “Since then we’ve developed the first experience-driven onboarding platform that coaches managers and stakeholders, emphasising the value of human connection and providing a ‘wow’ experience for employees,” he said.

Australia’s leading health insurance company, Medibank, who engaged Enboarder and Circle In separately last year, will be the first client to access Circle In’s content via the Enboarder platform. Melissa Wong, General Manager of Talent, Capability & Culture, said: “Enboarder enables us to coach our managers and employees with key points during parental leave, whilst Circle In delivers personalised content to our working parent community. We’re looking forward to seeing the benefits of having these platforms combined.”

Established in 2015, Enboarder has onboarded more than 100,000 employees for companies including Fairfax Media, McDonalds, Canva, Hugo Boss and Westpac. Further, the company currently averages a net promoter score of 81, with an average client employee satisfaction score of 4.8 out of 5.

Research shows that companies with a formal engagement strategy in place are 67% more likely to improve their revenue per full-time employee on a year-over-year basis. While on the employee side, 72% of parents believe they should be doing more to support them through parental leave.

“We’re excited to work with Circle In to provide their comprehensive parental leave program with engaging, real-life content through our digital platform,” Mr Pearson said.

Circle In’s unique Stay In Touch platform manages the end-to-end parental leave journey for employers including Medibank and L’Oréal with engaging content, support and coaching to both employees and managers.  Circle in founder and director, Jodi Geddes, said that collaborating with Enboarder will help reach and support more working parents with a truly unique global offering.

“Circle In and Enboarder share a passion for having positive impacts on working parents,” Ms Geddes said. “Using Enboarder alongside our program enables our clients to move beyond just having a parental leave policy to truly support working parents and managers on a global scale,” she said.
