Circle In is thrilled to welcome Hardie Grant to our Circle. Founder and Director of Hardie Grant, Fiona Hardie, said providing Circle In as an offering to their parents and caregivers will allow Hardie Grant to provide a consistent experience to their staff.

Here are some highlights from a recent chat between our co-founder, Jodi Geddes, and Fiona Hardie.

Why is it important for you to provide this support to your working parents and caregivers?

At Hardie Grant we particularly wanted to make sure that we were really consistent in what we provide. We already do quite a lot of things, but we just wanted to make sure that across all the management team they had access to these resources that will help them support individuals regardless of their background and their personal experience. Circle In really is great from that point of view in that we have those manager nudges and all the information that’s available, so I think that was probably the main thing, Hardie Grant wanting a consistent experience for our staff.

What does success look like for you in supporting your families and caregivers?

It will mean that our staff do feel supported and that they’re able to manage their personal and working lives, and the interaction between them. We obviously want them to come to work and be able to do the job that they want to do and we expect them to do, and we want them to feel that they can come to work being supported in their personal lives. 

One of the biggest thing I’ve seen over the 25 years of our business is just the range of circumstances that impact on people in their personal lives, that then impact on their work. We want to just give them as much support as we can, so that they can work.

What are you most excited about the platform and the partnership with Circle In?

I guess the thing I’m most excited about is how over the 12 months that I’ve been engaging with Circle In, even before we decided to sign up, I’ve seen how much Circle In has evolved. I’m really excited about that. I think it’s really important, because it’ll take time for our staff to become familiar with the platform and I think that you just keep adding to your offering. So I think that is what I’m most excited about, to see where together we can go.
